Every god, every hero, from every myth or comic you can think of was once real. They were nobler and more fantastical than you can even imagine. But, they were tricked. An Extinguished Cosmos is the story of the fallout of what happens when a bunch of self-important human billionaires channel power they were never supposed to know into technology their lackeys developed but they barely understand. 

Their goal was to enforce their ideology of human supremacy, their supremacy, on the universe. The result was the complete razing of the once multiverse, teeming with life, hope, and power, and the rebuilding of a much more mundane, boring universe where hope is a scarcity and the only great powers are the ones constructed by humans.
